Welcome to the Pro Green Way Arts and Crafts project – a collaborative initiative involving three vocational institutes specializing in the arts and crafts sector. The primary objective of this project is to develop a comprehensive plan for green skills training programs within the field of arts and crafts. Pro Green Way Arts and Crafts underscores the pivotal role of vocational institutions in the green transition and aims to enhance the understanding of how these institutions can prepare future professionals in the arts and crafts sector to meet the challenges of tomorrow.

The project's focal point is to solidify a vision for vocational schools in nurturing talents that are attuned to sustainable practices, aligning with the principles of the green transition. Future professionals in the arts and crafts sector must be equipped with the knowledge and skills to make informed decisions that support sustainable development. They play a crucial role in guiding their clients towards choices that contribute to a greener and more sustainable future.

Pro Green Way Arts and Crafts identifies and defines the key green skills essential in the field of applied arts. Through a holistic approach, the project delves into how these skills should be incorporated into the training programs. The participating institutions, namely Taitotalo from Finland, CEARTE from Portugal, and Lycée La Champagne from France collaborate to design and implement three workshops in each participating country. These workshops serve as a platform for sharing knowledge, fostering collaboration, and developing innovative strategies for integrating green skills into the curriculum.

Stay tuned for updates on our progress and the insights gained from the Pro Green Way Arts and Crafts- project. Together, we are shaping the future of green skills education in the arts and crafts industry.
