Taitotalo – about us

Taitotalo is Finland's largest vocational adult education center with about 28000 students attending our different training programs each year.

We offer multiple vocational qualifications, professional certificates, seminars and tailor made trainings to individuals and companies in dozens of different fields and industries. Taitotalo has a turnover of over 50 million euros per year and a staff of about 420 professionals.

The majority of the students at Taitotalo are working professionals or individuals seeking training for a new career. At Taitotalo you will study among other adult learners and our students can learn from each other's experiences in the working life.

Campus locations

Our main campus is conveniently located in Helsinki, the capital of Finland. Taitotalo is easily and quickly accessible by the commuter train (about 10 minutes from the Central Railway Station in Helsinki), tram or bus.

Practical, real-world training

Taitotalo's objective is to prepare students for the working life. The headquarters of most Finnish companies are located in the greater Helsinki area and this is where the jobs are as well. Taitotalo is very well connected with companies and we have partnered with more that 100 Finnish and international companies to arrange training for their staff. Through close cooperation with companies we have an up to date understanding on the skills needed to succeed in today's work life.

Taitotalo offers recruitment services for students. At Taitotalo you can add your cv to our data bank and thus help our corporate customers to find you. Many organizations are hiring quietly, even if they are not posting open jobs. Our goal is to help companies find the skilled employees they need to succeed. Similarly, we want every student succeed professionally and to find their dream job.

Taitotalo was awarded in 2023

Finland is known for its high quality education system. Taitotalo was awarded the Ministry of Education (Opetus- ja kulttuuriministeriö) Quality Award in 2023. Our student experience and satisfaction are very high, over 94 % of our students recommend us and the average satisfaction with a course is 4,4/5.0.

Taitotalo sertified by Kiwa on ISO 9001 for quality management systems, ISO 14001 environmental management systems and ISO 45001 for occupational health and safety system.

Taitotalo is a member of EfVET. EfVET is a leading EU umbrella nonprofit association of a large network of TVET stakeholders to secure a voice in policymaking and practice arenas.
