How to Apply to Taitotalo’s Vocational Qualification Programs from outside of the EU or ETA

1.    Get in touch with the agent in your area listed on Taitotalo’s website as an official partner for marketing the qualification.
2.    The agent will provide guidance, answer your questions, and conduct an initial pre-assessment.
3.    You will have an interview with Taitotalo via Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, or another agreed platform.
4.    If you meet the requirements, Taitotalo will offer you conditional admission to the program.
5.    To confirm your place and fully meet the entry requirements, you will pay the first year’s tuition fee to Taitotalo in full.
6.    Once the tuition fee has been paid, you can proceed with your student visa application.
7.    If the program is taught in Finnish and includes a language requirement (e.g., A2.1 or A2.2), you should begin Finnish studies early and prepare to demonstrate the required level. Some programs are taught in English and do not require Finnish. We still encourage all students moving to Finland to learn at least basic Finnish, as it can be a significant advantage in the job market. Taitotalo and other providers offer Finnish courses and language tests; please note that these costs are not included in the tuition fee.
8.    After your student visa is granted, you can plan your arrival in Finland and begin your studies.
